Will most of your guests be traveling more than 50 miles?

Yes — my guests are spread out throughout the state.

It’s a mix of local and traveling guests.

When I think about how big of a project planning my wedding will be, this best describes what I’m imagining:

When I imagine waking up on my wedding day, this is what happens next:

I’m chilling with my besties, taking my time getting ready, and there isn’t much to do for setup.

I’m at the venue, setting things up and getting everything just right — but still hanging out with my people while getting ready.

I don’t feel like I need all day to get ready, and because I don’t have many decorations, things are low-key.

My team of 3 hired wedding coordinators handle everything. I’ve got a hotel block, limousines, and drivers getting me to the ceremony and venue.

When I think about my wedding, these are the most important things to me:

Sustainability, ethics of the venue/businesses I choose, nature, and stunning photos.

Freedom to make the wedding feel like a complete representation of my unique self, a weekend vibe, and stunning photos.

Budget-friendly options, simplicity, and a beautiful outdoor space that includes tables, chairs, benches, and most of the essentials for the ceremony and reception.

A black-tie, fancy feel, exclusivity, and a high-end, traditional, or classic-inspired experience.

I gather inspiration from:

Nature, books, education/self-development, art, and gardening.

Social media, nature, pop culture, and my family and friends.

My faith/God, pop culture, and social media.

How I feel about food could be described as:

Homemade ranch: classic, but not to be underrated. When made with fresh buttermilk and dill, it can be life-changing. Other mind-blowing homemade foods: Cheez-Its, pie dough, and chocolate chip cookies.

My favorite Starbucks order, venti size: go big or go home.

A salad made with greens picked this morning: simple, but incredibly delicious.

Boxed mac and cheese and frozen pizza: the novelty never dies!

When I think about the budget for up to 100 people — including a place to stay, the wedding venue (with chairs & tables), rentals, florals, reception, bar service, appetizers, and dinner catering — I’m leaning towards:

Spending $30,000+, plus extras like photography, dress, shoes, etc.

Being flexible on the time of year to keep the budget around $25,000.

Keeping it low-key — I’m open to a Sunday wedding to stay under $15,000. I’ll decide on full catering and rentals later.

Either going super low-budget ($5,000 or less) or all-out luxury ($65,000 or more).

When I think about wedding photos, I imagine:

Being surrounded by flower fields with lots of opportunities and time for stunning photos.

Taking specific photos that tie into my décor and overall vibe — plus, I love nature shots.

Having gorgeous wedding photos, I’d be happy with a few hours of photography instead of an all-day shoot.

Professional photos of everything: engagement, rehearsal dinner, the entire wedding day, and brunch. I love indoor photography and black-and-white shots.

When I think about my wedding, I am most concerned with:

How I will feel.

How everything I planned turns out.

How easy I can make the process.

How I look.
