Of the Land

Our All-Inclusive Wedding Package for 100 people includes benches set up at the chosen ceremony site, tables and chairs set up for the reception, dance floor, bathrooms, yard games, two nights in our farm flat, bartending services, full-service catering of appetizers and dinner entree, handmade ceramic dish rental and service during dinner, and florals ($1,000 credit). Our prices vary depending on the time of year– we are open late April through the beginning of November. We have select weekends left for 2027 that start at $22,900, and 2028 dates range from $27,900 to $32,900, plus sales tax, gratuity, and any additional add-ons.

The outdoor spaces at Of The Land are one of the things that set us apart. We have over an acre of manicured gardens with modern seating, furniture, and pergolas. We grow 6 acres of flowers, including a very special Floral Ring that is a circular planting that resembles a labyrinth. Many clients choose to do their first look here and take incredible photos, especially during the golden hour. The Greenhouse Event Venue is filled with perennials and mature vines that cover the walls and ceiling. It is a completely different experience than being in a tent or barn.

Our clients arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday. Do you need that much time to get married? No. But in our experience, our clients have so many more opportunities to make memories and connect with their nearest and dearest.

Field to vase and farm to table aren’t just catchy phrases we use. We grow your food and flowers on our farm, as well as support other local farmers in our network. Our team makes homemade cheeze-its the day before your wedding, pick tomatoes the morning of, and hustles to clear plates as soon as your guests are done eating. Service is our specialty.

Yes, the Of the Land Commercial Kitchen is on site, directly next to the event venue. Your Of The Land wedding includes farm-to-table catering from Of The Land Catering.

Yes, your Of The Land all-inclusive package includes lodging at our on-site farm flat that sleeps 6 and has a beautiful bridal suite, kitchen, deck and hot tub.

All alcohol must be offered without any fee to your guests. Your Of The Land wedding includes bartending services at two bars.

Of course! Alcohol is never required at Of the Land. If you’d like a completely dry celebration, we’re happy to build your package around alcohol free options, including drinks from Dotty’s Garden Espresso Bar and Infused Beverage Station, and skip bar service entirely. Just let us know your preference.

Michigan law permits recreational cannabis use for guests 21+. Here at Of The Land, any cannabis service requires a licensed and insured Event Budtender. Use must stay outdoors, away from the greenhouse and shared spaces, and remain in the designated smoking area.

Our Wedding Greenhouse Venue includes a 144’ by 30’ Greenhouse with flooring, electrical, a dance floor, and a bar area. Outdoors, The Garden, Dotty, with lawn games, a bonfire area, wooden benches, and picnic tables. We have several ceremony sites, seating included.

All guests should depart by 11:00 PM. Bar service, music, microphones & amplification end 60 minutes before, at 10 PM. We allow small groups of people to stay and have a bonfire after 11 PM, as well as full access to the farm flat.

Yes! We work with our in-house floral design team. Your Of The Land wedding includes a floral base package or $1,000 worth of floral credit with their design team.

Yes! We have handmade wooden harvest tables for 150 guests & 2 head tables, plus other tables. We have matching chairs. These are included in your venue rental.

Yes! Table service for your Of The Land wedding, such as ceramic plates, glasses, napkins, and flatware, are included.

Our Greenhouse Venue works as an incredible ceremony space in the event of rain. Events Staff, along with your “Go To Person”, will make that decision the day of, two hours or more before the wedding begins. The Greenhouse is dry inside.

Part of the fun of a farm wedding is being out in nature. Our Greenhouse Venue has a specially designed plastic that reflects infrared waves (heat) while allowing other wavelengths of sunlight in for the plants. We also have seven industrial steel ceiling fans, and the sides roll up to almost six feet high. This keeps the temperatures slightly cooler than the outside ambient temperature.

The Greenhouse is designed to hold in heat and warmth when closed. The sides roll fully down on the Greenhouse, so we can adjust for changes in wind and weather. We also have an industrial forced-air heating system for a cozy vibe on cool spring and autumn evenings.
